Mike Shinoda will perform at AFAS Live on Thursday March 21, 2019. The American singer/rapper, best known from the band Linkin Park, will play in Amsterdam as part of his Post Traumatic-tour. It’s the first Dutch show for Mike Shinoda since he played Ziggo Dome with Linkin Park in 2017. Tickets are on sale now!
Mike Shinoda broke through as a member of Linkin Park in 2000, when the band released the successful debut album Hybrid Theory including hits such ‘In The End’ en ‘One Step Closer’. In total, Linkin Park released seven albums. In between Mike Shinoda also fronted the side-project Fort Minor. In 2005, Fort Minor released the album The Rising Tied with the enormous hit ‘Where’d You Go’. That same year, Mike Shinoda performed at Lowlands festival with Fort Minor. With Linkin Park, Shinoda performed twice in Heineken Music Hall (called AFAS Live nowadays), twice at Pinkpop Festival and twice at Ziggo Dome. Linkin Park played one of its last shows at Ziggo Dome on June 20, 2017.
